Very interesting debate on if it’s good or not a Twitter account sale. I’ve to admit my admiration for (what it seems to be) initiative of a PR company. The seller is Andrew Baron, and he might be the-first-twitter-account-seller-of-the-world. He is the producer of Rocketboomer (a daily newscast vlog).
I think, critical point of this sale is the fact of selling a part of his online personality, after all, his own 2.0 reputation. It’s a very heavy transaction to be negotiated in an auction, and for me, it could be like dealing with the devil. Buyer will make with his brand-new 2.0 personality all that he wants… do you see all right?
